Maine Business Online is an award-winning site dedicated to the business climate in Maine, featuring business/financial articles published in the Portland Press Herald and Maine Sunday Telegram.

The State of Maine web site has lots of valuable information about what's happening at the State Capitol regarding the employment scene, particularly on the site's Doing Business in Maine section.

Many local towns and cities in southern Maine have up-to-date websites that include information about businesses in their particular municipality. Check out the municipal websites for the cities/towns of Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland and Westbrook, to list a few.

There are also the regional Chamber of Commerce websites, such as the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, the Bangor Chamber of Commerce, and the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce.
