Our Process: Setting your expectations - Developing and maintaining
candidate and client relationships is very important to us. We feel that
a big part of establishing candidate relationships is setting your expectations
up front. With that in mind, we hope the following information is helpful:
The most effective first step for you as a new candidate is to apply
on-line to the Pro Search recruiter that specializes in your area
of expertise. Our on-line application gives you the
ability to submit your resume and other important information directly
into our exclusive database. You can update your
resume and other information at any time in the future, ensuring that
we have the most up to date information about you – during your
current job search and throughout your career. Your application
is entirely key word searchable (including resumes and cover letters)
and confidential and our database is the first place we go every time a new search assignment comes into Pro Search.
Once you’ve signed up, our specialized recruiters carefully evaluate
your resume against all current recruiting assignments (and temporary/contract
jobs, if appropriate) and we will contact you to invite you in for an extensive interview if your professional
background fits the requirements of any of these assignments. If there
isn’t a current match, we will contact you when/if an appropriate
career opportunity does become available in the future, and invite you in for an interview at that time.
You should know that we will never submit your resume or forward your
name to ANY client without your prior knowledge and approval. We understand
and respect the importance of confidentiality when trying to make a career
change. Whenever we have a recruiting assignment that does appear to be
a fit, we will contact you to discuss the opportunity in detail and to
learn more about your professional experience and aspirations. We'll most
likely have you come in to meet with us at that time. If after that discussion,
your experience matches our client's requirements and the position appears
to be a good career opportunity for you, we will get an interview set
up for you with our client.
We will play an active role throughout the interview process, getting
feedback for you from our client and expecting feedback from you about
the opportunity. We will NEVER pressure you into taking a job with any
of our clients. Our job is to screen opportunities for you and help you
assess the plusses and minuses of every job opportunity.
